Showing you how to make your own book cloth, as you slowly build your own journal ❤️ plus seasonal journal prompts & activities
Hi loves,
Welcome to your next installment of Mindful Bookbinding. You can find all of the previous letters at this link here, as well as your tutorial showing you how to get started. As a reminder, so far, we have been gathering our tools, making signatures to journal into & exploring our favourite ways of journaling - I’d love to hear how you’ve got on? Did you get the power tools out last month to make your own book press?
If you’re yet to join us, it’s not too late. As we reach the halfway point of 2024, perhaps now is exactly the right time to lean back into that goal of slowing down and taking more mindful moments✨? You’d also get to hand-sew your very own beautiful book filled with your thoughts, memories & intentions - what’s to lose?!
This offering is for my paid community, you can try 30 days for free via the link below or, if finances are a barrier, please message me for a comp subscription, no explanation needed.
This turn of the wheel we are celebrating Litha, more commonly known as the Summer Solstice ☀️❤️. For those of us in the Northern hemisphere, this is the point in the year where the sun is at it's highest and the days are at their longest.
This is the time for doing all the things - the mornings are light and this lasts till late in the evening, giving you so much space to be productive. Most of all though, Litha is a celebration of light, giving thanks to the bright half of the year as the seasons begin to change and the days begin to get shorter.
You can find this seasons workbook & video tutorial linked below - it is filled with seasonal journal prompts and activities as well as a full written outline and video for this seasons bookbinding activity -
